Doctors ‘happy’ with Falcons rookie Kaleb McGary’s heart procedure, Dan Quinn says

But for the first part of it, they were happy.” According to the Journal-Constitution, several medical experts have projected that McGary will need six to eight weeks to recover from a cardiac ablation, but he could return more quickly depending on how much of his heart was repaired and the use of blood thinners.An ablation is a procedure to scar or destroy tissue in the heart that is allowing incorrect electrical signals to cause abnormal heart rhythm, according to the Mayo Clinic.
