McNabb to retire with Eagles

first_img Published on July 28, 2013 at 12:32 pm Contact Jacob: jmklinge@syr.edu | @Jacob_Klinger_ Former Syracuse quarterback Donovan McNabb will formally retire with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, the team announced Sunday.After a college career as a four-year starter with the Orangemen from 1995-98, McNabb played 11 of his 13 NFL seasons with the Eagles. He played the last two years of his career with the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings respectively but never formally retired.McNabb was named the Big East offensive player of the decade and the conference player of the year three times.
